Summit Velo is an Arizona
cycling team, based primarily in Tucson and Flagstaff. Our mission is
to afford each member the opportunity to become a more successful
cyclist, to be an active and integral member of the cycling community
in general, and to give back to our community through cycling-related
service events.
We expect participation and involvement from our members - in group
rides, racing, community service and social events but more
importantly to have fun! Summit Velo began as a group of friends in
Tucson who raced with the former Flag Velo team, which at that time
was based in Flagstaff. In the past five years, it has grown to
a team of almost 100 cyclists, both competitive and non-competitive. |
